The explicit expression of Clough-Tocher patch

摘要

Clough-Tocher interpolation technique is widely used in CAGD, CG and finite-element analysis. Clough-Tocher patch is a cubic polynomial defined by twelve parameters. This paper discusses how to construct Clough-Tocher patch over a triangle. The main task is to give the explicit formula of Clough-Tocher patch in order to simplify the process of surface construction.
