Production practice for quality improvement of GCr15 bloom casting

摘要

Causes for central shrink pipe of GCr15 blooms were analyzed.Countermeasures to tackle with such defect were practiced,including suitable secondary cooling,soft reduction and casting speed,as well as strict superheat control.The results show that the quality of bloom castings is significantly improved.
