A capacity determination method of an energy storage system (ESS) for smoothing the fluctuations of tie-line power flow in a grid-connected microgrid (MG) with high penetration of renewable energy sources (RES) is presented. The proposed method can determine the appropriate ESS capacity to inhibit the adverse effects of RES' s fluctuations on the MG and power grid. Meanwhile, the spectrum analysis of the controllable power needed by the MG for stabilization of tie-line power flow is introduced and analyzed. Based on the spectrum analysis, the minimum ESS power and energy capacity can be determined after given the data of RES output, load, rated power of controllable power sources and the target output of tie-line power flow in the MG. The results of case study prove the method proposed is effective.%为了抑制高可再生能源渗透率并网微电网联络线功率波动对电网的不利影响,提出了用于控制微电网联络线功率输出的储能系统容量优化确定方法.在已知微电网可再生能源功率输出、负荷、可控电源额定功率及联络线功率控制目标的前提下,基于微电网平滑联络线功率所需可控功率输出的频谱分析结果,可优化选取满足联络线功率控制目标、微电网内部设备输出功率限制、储能系统效率及荷电状态运行约束的储能系统功率及容量.算例验证了所提方法的有效性.
