This paper discusses the state of art methods of protection and revitalization of republic buildings in Nanjing.Taking the planning and designing of the project of The No.724 Institute as an example,the paper summarizes basic principles and strategies for planning and architectural designing.%论文探讨了南京民国建筑保护与再利用的现状与方法,并以724所改造实践为例,总结了项目的改造设计原则及规划、建筑设计策略。
