It it is important to investigate whether psychological stress(PS)alters the responses of humans to ionizing radiation(IR),and induces disease or toxicity so that we can understand the possible effects on human health[1].In this investigation,we use an 56Fe ion beam and chronic restraint on Tp53-heterozygous(Trp53+/-)male mice to simulate the effects of PS on IR-induced reproductive health, and to detect the underlying mechanisms in the effects of PS responses on IR-induced toxicity in mouse testes.
