The progress of research going on in Group of Rare Isotope Beam Physics(RIB),Experimental Physics Research Center,in 2017 is in the following three aspects.1.The in-orbit calibration and data analysis works for the plastic scintillator detector(PSD)of the DArk Matter Particle Explorer(DAMPE).The DAMPE satellite has worked more than 2 years in the desired orbit till now.And we continued the calibration and data analysis works for the whole 2017.During the year, the calibration methods for the PSD were improved and even better performance were obtained, both in charge resolution and efficiency, which leads to a less contamination for the Z=1 charged particles and better e/separation.Some important results have already been obtained and published by the DAMPE collaboration group, such as the more accurate high energy electron spectrum up to 4.6 TeV,which comes from the obtained data of 530 days in orbit(Fig.1).
