In order to meet the requirements of the newly-founded Wuhan University to have uniform administration over the journals.Geo-spatial Information Science (Quarterly) takes some changes as follows. 1.The sponsor,formerly being Wuhan Technical University of Surveying and Mapping,is now Wuhan University. 2.The department in charge,formerly being the State Bureau of Surveying and Mapping,now is Ministry of Education. 3.The Periodicals Press of Wuhan Technical University of Surveying and Mapping is changed into Wuhan University Journals Press. The principle,content,stylistic rules and layout,and service range of the Journal keep unchanged.We shall distribute the Geo-spatial Information Science to those who subscribe in 2001.
