Three species of the family Araneidae including a new species are described: Araneus polydentatus sp. nov., Araneus shunhuangensis Yin et al., 1990 and Mangora songyangensis Yin et al., 1990. The males of A shunhuangensis and M. songyangensis are described for the first time.
