Using the parameters measured and obtained by the test, the mathematical models are developed for the fuel delivery system for compressed natural gas, including the fuel lines, the fuel filter, the pressure regulator, the accumulator and the single injector controlled by Pulse Width Modulation signal.;The experiments for the pressure transients of the system with various pulse width are performed and comparison of simulation and experimental results shows good agreements in transient characteristics.;A lumped parameter modeling equations for gas are used for each component. A modal approximation and minimum order state variable technique are used for transmission line dynamics. The effects of load capacitance are added to the transmission line dynamics, comparison of simulation and experimental results shows that the load capacitance is the important factor for the line dynamics.
