In recent years, the supply chain management has been introduced and its idea is about integrating organizational function from the ordering and receipt of raw materials through the manufacturing of products through the distribution and delivery to the customer. There are some evidences indicating that this idea enable for organizations to achieve high quality products, good customer service and lower cost. One problem of interest from the supply chain management aspect is to design how the materials should be flowed from the upstream to the downstream along the chain in order to minimize its total cost. Therefore, the modeling technique for designing the integrated supply chain system performs the significant role to decide whether the system will operate successfully under the constrained environment. And also the variability in each component of the supply chain should be considered such that the model under consideration will properly respond to the real situation.; The objective of this research is to develop a new technique for the design and analysis of an integrated supply chain network in a stochastic environment when subjected to some various sources of uncertainty in the network. The decision level in this study will be focused at the strategic level. The use of a combination of network modeling, stochastic linear programming, and discrete event simulation will be discussed in the paper. And also the illustrative example of a supply chain network will be included for the demonstration of the design methodology.
