摘要

This research investigated the limitations of Albert Bandura's theory of observational training (also known as observational learning) when applied to e-learning. The study focused on professional employees in different industries around the United States. These professionals engaged in continuous training either in the classroom or on in an online learning environment in order to stay abreast of ongoing changes in technology. Using the quantitative methodology, Albert Bandura's model was assessed using a Kirkpatrick four-level survey of reaction, learning, behavior, and outcome in the context of both traditional training and e-training. A sample of 134 professional employees was selected, with an age range of 18 to 63. The results of the study supported the postulation that Bandura's theory of observational learning has limitations when applied to e-training environments.
