A Perfect Storm: Refugees, Youth Bulge, and Crimes.

摘要

The objective of this dissertation is to improve the current understanding regarding the impact of the influx of refugees on countries with a large number of youth cohorts, through refined specification and time-span. I have discovered the interaction between the youth bulge and refugees indicates an indirect increase in crime rates. In addition, this research examines the proposition that a higher proportion of refuges have a mix influence on crime rates. The proportion of refugees in the host population does not have a statistical relationship. This paper uses the specifications of an ordinary least square and fixed effect model.
