摘要

The present study is a quantitative investigation of the relationship between Rational Emotive Education (REE) and children's content acquisition of rational beliefs. Twenty-six male and female students in Hawaii and California schools completed an 8-week 60-minute a week intervention of REE. Each student completed the pre and postassessment included in the REE curriculum, the Children's Survey of Rational Beliefs (CSRB). This researcher proposed two hypotheses: (1) Student participants in the short-term application of REE would show content acquisition between pre and postmeasurements and (2) Student participants would have maintained their content acquisition of rational beliefs and understanding upon a 3-month follow-up.
