摘要

E-assessment gains more popularity ever than before.This is caused by thetrend that more and more institution or companies prefer to use computer system for their enrollment assessment.Some success stories about E-assessment have emerged in recent years, from selection of new students or job applicants in university or company to language assessment.One of e-assessment implementation is Entrance Test System.This application is a web-based system that examine job applicant test to qualify his or her as a new employee, using a user interface in the form of web pages.The outline for this project could be summarized as follows: 1.Theory foundation and analysis of this research are MVC structure, Hibernate Framework, Struts 2 Framework, Java Server Pages (JSP), JQuery, CSS, HTML, mysql, and apache tomcat.2.The design of the system encloses database, architectural, interface and procedural design.3.The implementation of this project using Java 2 Enterprise Edition (J2EE) technology which is Java Server Pages (JSP) for the development with Hibernate framework and struts 2 framework, MySQL as the database server, Apache Tomcat as a web server and Eclipse as development tool.4.This system has been carried out extensive test for making sure the quality of itself with many possible occasion from user input and behavior.The system now has been used by Dodroid company.The usage of this system is for testing job applicant who is applying job to this company.
