2009年汉语新词汇的符号学解读

摘要

随着中国经济、文化、社会的快速发展,汉语的发展和变异迅速加快,并在近年来的新词汇中得到体现。新词汇具有传统汉语词汇不具备的特点,呈现出多样性、开放性和独特性。作为语言符号的一部分,新词汇之所以被赋予这些特点,一方面是符号系统本身的性质演变和关系转移,另一方面是社会发展的必然。作为一种跨学科的理论,符号学是以一切符号为研究对象,而语言作为最纯粹最传统的符号系统,与符号学有不可割裂的关系。由于符号学涉及了心理、文化和社会的角度,为汉语新词汇的研究提供了一个全面综合的理论支撑。
　　本文从符号学的角度出发,以国家语言工作委员会公布的396条2009年汉语新词为对象,对新词汇形态、意义和它与社会的关系进行全面深入的研究。用符号学的相关理论从符号的三个方面,也即符号自身的性质,符号与其他符号的关系,符号与使用它的人/社会的关系来解读汉语新词汇,关注新词汇的形式变化,意指过程和语用机制,从语言、社会、文化等各个角度认识汉语新词汇,揭示汉语新词汇的新特征的成因和它作为一种符号传达的意义。
　　文章首先论述了本文的理论框架,不仅概括地介绍了符号学的起源、发展、研究方向,也对与语言相关的符号学理论做了详细的表述,主要建立在对几位著名学者的理论阐述之上。接着介绍了2009年汉语新词汇的分类,特点,频率和构词方式等,并对这些新词汇进行符号学分析,从形态、意指系统和社会意义三个方面研究新词汇,目的在于分析新词汇能指、所指的关系转移,为新词汇形态上新的特点作出合理解释;揭示新词汇的意指过程,分析词汇包含的意识形态方面的意义;并进一步观察新词汇与社会的关系,解读新词汇传达的社会文化信息。
