Chapter 3 Result
3.1ERK1/2 activation was not significantly altered upon DA or 5-HT stimulation in Bv2 microglia cells.
3.2DA and 5-HT induce the activation of p38 MAPK in a time-dependent manner in resting microglia.
3.3Activation of p38 MAPK by DA cannot be blocked with DA receptor antagonists.
3.4Activation of p38 MAPK by DA or 5-HT can be blocked with decynium.
3.5Activation of p38 MAPK results in the phosphorylation of paxillin Ser83
3.6Phagocytosis and F-actin stress fibers are downregulated in DA-treated microglia
