大炼钢项目现场会议交替传译实践报告

摘要

本报告来源于作者参加上海麦特莱吉冶金设备集团的大炼钢项目进行的会议口译实践。与会者包括三方人员：甲方SMC（标准冶金公司）代表，甲方技术顾问Danieli（达涅利公司）代表以及乙方SME（上海麦特莱吉冶金设备集团）代表。作者作为口译员的职责是促进三方就工作现场重要问题进行的沟通。 整篇报告分为六个章节。第一章介绍冶金行业和它的背景知识，以及它对译员的要求，并介绍译者对达到要求所做的准备。第二章是关于会议的译前准备，包括搜集专业词汇，查阅过往的会议纪要，并且向有做过此类会议翻译的同事请教等等。第三章，分析口译过程，发现翻译之中出现的问题和修改办法。第四章，从录音文本中的案例，分析对功能对等理论的应用情况及效果。第五章，译员的自我评价，同事的评价，以及客户对译员表现的评价。最后一章则是作者对此次翻译工作的总结，以及个人对从事冶金行业口译的译员给出的建议。 通过对五份录音文本的总结。笔者在其中发现有很多问题，包括语法，语气，流畅度，准确度等等。由于口译内容涉及多个领域，包括冶金，机械，电气方面的术语，对译者的表现有一定的挑战性。为加强口译准确性和规避失误，作者使用功能对等理论以及一些口译技巧比如和发言者确认信息，利用会议文件或者PPT辅助表达。通过对笔者口译经验的研究和分析，对未来冶金行业口译的发展提出一些实用的建议和方法。
