摘要

近年来很多英语教师认识到音乐在英语教学中的重要性,但相关研究多数侧重于整体的英文教学,英语歌曲与听力的实证研究并不多,而少数的研究主要集中在英文歌曲在教学中的可行性和学生成绩的变化,并未涉及到影响英语学习的重要因素动机及兴趣的系统研究。
  本研究以44名青岛科技大学英语专业二年级本科生为研究对象,将英文歌曲作为材料应用于实验组的听力教学中,而对照组仍采取传统的听力教学方法。从动机、兴趣和成绩三方面研究英文歌曲对英语专业学生听力教学的影响,主要探究三个问题:①英文歌曲作为一种听力材料是否能提高学生的听力动机?②在听力教学中使用英文歌曲是否能激发学生的学习兴趣?③英文歌曲在听力教学中的使用是否有助于提高学生的听力成绩?
  通过对比和分析调查问卷的前后数据、受试者前测和后测的成绩、课堂观察、教学试验以及对实验班部分学生的访谈,得出以下结论:①英文歌曲作为一种听力材料不能更加有效的提高学生的听力动机;②在听力教学中使用英文歌曲教学能激发学生的学习兴趣;③英文歌曲在听力教学中的使用有助于提高学生的听力成绩。
  最后,基于本研究的结论,作者提出了一些对听力教学的启示,比如:教师应用歌曲教学前应做好充足的准备;充分利用所选的听力材料;为学生提供更多参与教学活动的机会;结合课内外练习等等。
