关于英语专业学生对“中国英语”认知的调查：跨文化交际视角

摘要

作为世界通用语，英语在国际交往中发挥着不可或缺的作用。英语的全球化和本土化促进了英语变体的出现，世界英语理论的发展为英语变体奠定了理论基础。中国英语是英语本土化过程中出现的、带有中国特色的英语变体。它以规范英语为核心，以中国文化元素为内容，在传播中国文化的同时也丰富了英语语言。许多国内外学者对中国英语进行了多方面的研究，这大大促进了中国英语的发展。但是理论上的研究多于实践性的探索，关于中国英语的定义和标准问题还未有定论，特别是中国英语的实践价值有待进一步探究。
　　作为跨文化交际的产物，中国英语必然对跨文化交际产生影响。英语专业学生作为跨文化交际的主体，是中国英语得以发展的载体。研究英语专业学生对中国英语本身和其实践价值的认同程度将有利于中国英语的进一步发展。本论文结合跨文化交际相关理论，采用调查研究的方法，选取辽宁某高校六十名英语专业大三学生为调查对象，通过问卷和访谈的形式，调查他们对中国英语及其跨文化交际功能的认同度，了解英语专业学生在跨文化交际活动中是否受到中国英语的影响以及他们对中国英语应用于英语教学的看法。
　　通过对调查结果的定量和定性的分析，得出研究结果:首先，英语专业学生大多认可中国英语的世界变体地位和它的客观存在，肯定中国英语在跨文化交际中能更贴切地表达中国特有文化，认为学习中国英语知识是必要的，肯定了中国英语对提升中国文化全球影响力的推动作用。其次，在英语专业学生的跨文化交际活动中，中国英语为成功的跨文化交际活动提供了保证，它能够提高英语专业学生的中国文化的自觉意识，提升他们对民族文化的认同感，并且有助于发展他们的文化移情能力。最后，英语专业学生认为在大学英语教学中可以引入中国英语以提高他们的跨文化交际能力，有助于他们在双向文化互动中“学贯中西”。
　　本研究肯定了中国英语在跨文化交际中的积极作用，探讨了英语专业学生习得中国英语的必要性和可能性。为培养具有双向文化意识的英语人才提供了新思路。
