《本科教育的未来即美国的未来》（节选）翻译实践报告

摘要

教育是人类传承文明和知识、培养年轻一代、创造美好生活的根本途径，而高等教育作为教育的“金字塔尖”，其发展水平不仅直接关系一个国家、一个民族的创新能力，而且深刻影响其思想厚度、文化素养与精神品质。因此，必须高度重视高等教育的发展。该翻译实践报告的源文本是《本科教育的未来即美国的未来》，源文本针对美国当前本科教育发展的现状，提出了一系列改进措施，可以为我国高等教育的发展提供借鉴。卡特福德将转换机制应用于翻译研究，提出了多种转换方法，适用性强，因此笔者选取了卡特福德的翻译转换理论作为理论指导。 该实践报告不但对原文本进行了介绍和分析，并介绍了卡特福德的翻译转换理论及其对该报告的指导。报告从层次转换和范畴转换两个层面，探讨了翻译转换理论如何指导信息型文本的翻译，希望可以为以后类似文本的翻译提供借鉴。
