行业软文英译项目报告——以“华为全联接大会2017”智慧交通板块行业软文翻译实践为例

摘要

笔者在华为南京研究所实习期间，参与了华为主办的年度行业盛宴“华为全联接大会”的翻译支撑业务。在这一翻译活动中，笔者主要负责智慧交通板块，翻译了大量软文和胶片，积累了丰富的语料和实践经验。在翻译实践过程中，笔者遇到很多困难与问题，如如何简洁地翻译标题，如何处理生僻的行业术语，如何翻译长难句，如何保持行文的规范性和一致性。笔者与行业导师和同行前辈积极探讨，学习他们的翻译方法，研读他们的译文与审校，并不断总结出自己的一套翻译方法和技巧。在翻译标题时，笔者参照学习平行文本，并适当增删。进行术语翻译时，笔者在译前整理好术语表，译中善用各种网络资源和机辅工具，并积极与任务需求人沟通。翻译长难句时，笔者使用主被动转换，句子结构重组，改写句子等方法，并避免使用过多名词性表达。关于保持行文的规范性和一致性，笔者善用行业指导书《华为风格指南》，并利用机辅工具辅助检查。笔者希望这些翻译方法和策略能够补充现阶段的翻译实践研究，为同行译者提供参考。
