框架理论下英汉数字习语中数字框架对比研究

摘要

本文运用Charles Fillmore的框架理论对英汉数字习语中的数字框架进行了对比研究。
　　研究表明，尽管英汉数字习语中的数字框架有相似之处，大部分的框架不尽相同，有些还可能差异很大。数字“一”和数字“十”在两种语言中享有各自相同的框架。数字“四”虽然有些共同之处，但主要的还是差异。差别最明显的是数字“七”和数字“六”的框架。虽然数字“三”在英汉两种文化中都有广泛的应用，但其框架却非常不同。其它数字的框架几乎没有可比之处。本文旨在发现框架理论下英汉数字框架的共性和差异，从而加深英汉数字的理解和丰富的文化内涵，为提高英语教学和跨文化交际作出贡献。
　　对比研究的过程强调这样一种认知:对语言的理解包括对头脑中相关框架的激发。因此，在框架理论视角下对数字框架的对比分析是可行的，必要的，也是非常重要的。
