摘要

自1969年,Berlin和Kay打开了颜色词研究的大门后,学者对其产生了极大的兴趣。西方学者大多关注各语言基本颜色词范畴的差异和对比,而国内学者更多注重汉语基本颜色词产生的内外动因、词义及其文化内涵,二者互为补充。但从认知的角度对英汉语颜色词的对比研究较少,也缺乏对英汉“红”的框架语义对比分析。 本文从认知语言学的角度,对英汉“红”框架相同元素的形式表征的认知语义进行系统探究,深入挖掘其框架元素的异同及其成因。通过对语料库、网络用语和词典中相关语料的搜集、归纳和总结,将英汉“红”框架相同元素在同一事物概念和同一事件概念的形式表征进行对比分析。 研究发现英汉“红”框架元素的意义相同点在于都是以“红”的基本义为原型,在发展变化中增加了转喻义、隐喻义和文化义,主要原因在于语言文化背后人们相似的经验。同时,也发现汉语“红”框架内的元素远多于英文RED框架元素,形式表征中的隐喻式和转喻式较多,其相应的文化内涵也更为丰富,形成差异的主要原因在于社会背景、社会心理和文化基础等的不同,同时与语言的经济性和象似性也有一定的关联。 本文从认知语言学的词概念框架理论、概念转喻理论和原型范畴理论出发,对英汉“红”框架内相同元素进行对比分析,具备一定的科学性和系统性。
