摘要

随着全球化的不断加深，各国之间频繁的交流使得口译人才的需求不断增多。交替传译作为一种主要的口译形式被广泛使用于各类场合。它要求口译员能听取长达几分钟的讲话，并在短时间内对讲话内容进行翻译。因此，掌握长句翻译技巧对口译员至关重要。
　　本文选取新西兰总理约翰基的三篇演讲作为口译实践材料，探讨了长句翻译的重要性以及长句翻译技巧的运用。通过介绍任务背景、任务特点，探究了长句翻译的必要性。报告具体描述了口译实践的过程，包括译前准备，翻译过程和译后审查。然后，报告详细介绍了本次口译实践活动的指导理论----释意派理论以及长句翻译技巧的运用。最后，报告对整个口译实践活动进行了总结，并提出本次口译实践中还存在的问题以及解决方法。研究发现，长句翻译技巧能有效的帮助口译员处理英汉交替传译中出现的困难。通过运用长句翻译技巧，口译员能够在短时间内较快地掌握讲者表达的核心思想，节省理解时间。长句翻译技巧对口译员往后的口译实践活动具有一定的指导意义。
