女性主义理论解析《阿格尼斯·格雷》中主人公性格的双重性

摘要

安妮·勃朗特是十九世纪英国文学史上最重要的女性作家之一。在她的大部分作品中，她用细腻的语言、巧妙的叙事方式以及独特的视角描述了女性的生活状态，在社会中所受的压迫和女性应该具备怎样的意识从而实现真正意义上的独立和平等。《阿格尼斯·格雷》是安妮·勃朗特的代表作之一，它讲述了主人公阿格尼斯是如何踏入社会以及在追求平等的道路上如何面对各种压迫和不公正待遇。近年来，国内外对作品《阿格尼斯·格雷》的研究不胜枚举，包括对小说人物性格分析，主题分析，叙事角度分析以及对小说中女性主义元素的分析。
　　本文旨在运用女性主义的理论分析小说的主人公阿格尼斯性格的双重性，即在她的性格中既有具备女性主义特征的部分，也存在缺乏女性主义特征或与女性主义理论相悖的部分。尽管很多学者和评论家都从女性主义的角度研究过这部小说，但是对于小说中主人公双重性格的研究却并不多见，尤其是在阿格尼斯性格中缺乏女性主义意识的部分。此外，对于阿格尼斯复杂性格的成因的分析也并不是十分详细。本文试图从一个更宽泛、更全面的视角来分析《阿格尼斯·格雷》中主人公的性格特征。
　　本文共分为五个部分。第一章主要对作者安妮·勃朗特和小说《阿格尼斯·格雷》进行简要介绍，并对该领域的相关研究成果作文献综述。第二章旨在介绍女性主义和女性主义理论。第三章是本论文的主体部分，运用女性主义理论着重分析阿格尼斯·格雷性格的双重性，即通过阿格尼斯对事业、婚姻、关系以及对不公平的待遇和爱情的态度分析她的性格特征。第四章主要从经济、社会和家庭的影响方面来分析阿格尼斯双重性格形成的原因。第五章是论文的结论部分，试图总结阿格尼斯的双重性格特征，并分析阿格尼斯的这种性格对女性应该如何反对压迫寻求平等，如何实现真正意义上的独立，如何实现自我价值等方面具有的指导意义。
