The Application of the Cooperative Principle to the Conflict Talk between Couples--A Case Study on Desperate Housewives

摘要

合作原则是语用学的重要理论之一。在过去几十年里，国内外许多研究者纷纷运用合作原则及其各准则对各种语言现象进行深入细致地研究，如委婉语、反语、幽默、谎言、模糊语等等，但其在冲突话语方面的研究却一直没有得到研究者的广泛关注。冲突话语常常发生于人与人之间，是人际交往中一种特殊的沟通方式。它的存在影响着人际关系发生和发展的方向。因此，重视对冲突话语的研究将对人际关系意义非凡。基于这点，本文主要探讨了合作原则及其各准则在夫妻冲突话语中的应用。
　　本文以美剧《绝望主妇》中夫妻间的冲突话语为语料来源，运用定性、定量和对比的方法，对剧本中夫妻间冲突话语进行语用分析，主要探讨合作原则及其各准则在夫妻间冲突话语的应用情况，并分析和讨论两性在冲突话语中违反合作原则及其各准则时所体现的性别差异及其原因。全文共有四章，分为三大部分。
　　第一部分包括论文的引言和第一章，交代研究背景、目的与意义、内容及理论依据，同时介绍合作原则及其各准则和冲突话语等的相关研究现状，并对“在理”、“在理方”和“语言策略”进行说明。
　　第二部分为论文的第二章，以《绝望主妇》中夫妻间的冲突话语为例，分析和探讨合作原则及其各准则在夫妻冲突话语中的应用情况。
　　第三部分包括论文的第三、四两章，具体展开对《绝望主妇》中夫妻间冲突话语的分析。第三章描述研究方法和结果，包括研究对象、研究方法、数据收集及其分析和研究结果。本文从《绝望主妇》中收集并建立包括14对夫妻或情侣的162个冲突话语片段在内的语料库，对其进行定量、定性和对比分析，最后提出数据分析结果。第四章主要讨论研究结果及其对夫妻双方和婚姻调解员的启示。研究结果表明，当夫妻双方违反合作原则及其各准则时，双方对语言策略的偏好不同，对各准则的违反也侧重不同。研究结果为夫妻双方及其调解员提供了有益启示。当了解了夫妻冲突话语的性别差异，夫妻双方可以在日常生活中减少或者避免话语冲突，进一步改善两性的人际关系，从而促进婚姻和谐。婚姻调解员也可以利用夫妻冲突话语的性别差异，从语言角度对夫妻冲突有的放矢，进一步提高他们的工作效率。
