摘要

随着认知语言学的发展,当代的隐喻理论使隐喻研究发生了根本性的变革.它使研究了两千多年的修辞格--隐喻成为了一种重要的认知手段,开辟了隐喻研究的新领域,使隐喻研究成为了跨学科的学问.作为人类思维的一种重要方式,隐喻在认知方面起着极为重要的作用.然而,与隐喻理论研究相比,隐喻研究成果的实际应用并没有受到足够的重视.关于隐喻教育用途的研究至今仍处于初期阶段.该文从当代认知隐喻理论的角度出发,回溯了外语教育文化教学的各种方案以及隐喻的教学应用,并在对隐喻思维特点、工作机制及理解特点予以介绍的基础上,着重对隐喻的文化与认知特征进行分析,根据探讨认知隐喻理论对外语教育文化教学的启示及应用.通过揭示隐喻在日常语言中的普遍性以及论述文化与隐喻两者之间的密切关系,作者论证了隐喻应用于外语教育文化教学中的可能性与可行性,提出了通过隐喻进行文化教学是外语教育文化教学的一条可行途径的观点,认为认知隐喻理论在教学上的应用不仅可以提高当前的文化教学水平,而且还可以培养学习者的文化通感,使他们能够以客观的态度对待不同的文化.
