Using Source Water Assessments to Promote Watershed Programs

This paper presents a brief synopsis of public involvement and information requirements for Source Water Assessments (SWA) and a number of successful watershed programs. Examples of successful approaches will be presented using the Springfield, Missouri Watershed Committee of the Ozarks and elements of several states' SWAP programs.
