摘要

The study explored some key issues of improvement on information system in mass customization operation in the context of catering services. It revealed the important role of information reliability in delivering mass customized services and pointed out how the information flow and tools could be improved in the service process much different from the manufacturing counterpart. Beside the normal information technology, as it further indicated, more non-computer-based means for information transferring should be developed to meet the requirements of service operations in delivering mass customized services.
