The emergence of tourism e-commerce brings about a great impact on business pattern, the tourism consumption structure pattern and tourism market pattern, which has also led to a series of problems in future development. On-line customer research, for example, has been conducted for European and American markets by marketers and academics, but it has been developed little in China for the problems of safe, understanding of Chinese Internet travelers required. As an information-intensive industry which relies on the information, tourism is becoming one of the important areas in which the e-commerce is applied. China's travel service sector has encountered revolutionary changes due to the commercial use of the Internet. Businesses from IT industry take advantage of e-Commerce, and become on-line travel agencies, such as the tourism division of 163.com (an Internet portal), Byecity.com, Ctrip.com and eLong.com. These new entrants are often backed by advanced technology companies and competitive tourism organizations with funds from Chinese and foreign conglomerates. Therefore, the applications of e-commerce in the field of tourism have brought about the information of tourism business operations and internal management, which can provide consumers with a higher quality of tourism services. In this paper, the information management and organization will be discussed in the tourism e-commerce.
