Khomary tunnel, with the length of 2 Kilometer, is one of the most important tunnels existing in BandarrnAbbas – Mashhad railway in Iran. This railway, with the length of 1000 km, connects Persian Gulf tornmiddle Asia. Almost a quarter of the tunnel lining is composed of ordinary reinforced concerte and thernrest includes shotcrete layer reinforced with polymer fibers (HPP). This paper deals with shotcreternpractical executive operations and its advantages to the ordinary reinforced concrete lining.
