OLIVE FOOT CAKE AS ENERGY SOURCE FOR BRICK MANUFACTURE IN TUNISIA

摘要

In this study, an investigation into the potential olive – oil industry by-product, which is available inlarge amounts in many Mediterranean countries at very low cost, as a source of energy is conducted inbrick manufacture in Tunisia.Proximate analysis of the olive cake indicate that olive cake has an excellent potential to be a renewablesource of energy. Moreover, the parameters of the combustion, the calorific values of this solid wasteand its impact on the environment are studied.
