The "AVS-F" instrumentation described is intended for recording fluxes of hard X-rays, γ-rays and neutrons from the Sun in an energy range of 3 keV to 80 MeV for electromagnetic radiation and of ~10 MeV to 500 MeV for neutrons aboard the "CORONAS-F" satellite. This system uses detectors in the form of a CsI(Tl) based scintillation counter and CdTe based semiconductor detector. Operation modes and construction of the instrumentation with special attention to the data acquisition and processing system are described.
