Developing a multi-agent system for the World Wide Web

Over the last few years the use of the agent/multi-agent paradigm has grown up sharply. This paradigm has been applied to different fields, such us control processes, mobile robots, information retrieval and so on. In this paper, we present a system architecture based on the agent and multi-agent paradigm that allows us to retrieve and manage any kind of information from the net. We present our architecture like a generic and open system architecture. One of its main features is the agents' independence of the network's dynamic.
