Study on the Soil Background Values in Shanghai Chemical Industry Park

摘要

Based on the investigation of soil environment background values in Shanghai Chemical Industrial Park, we obtained the element background values of the soil and distribution types in the Park, and compared it with other areas. Using Tessier sequential extraction method, the paper also studied the forms of heavy metals in the soil background values samples from Shanghai Chemical Industrial Park. The results showed that Cd was mainly in exchangeable and Fe-Mn oxides fraction, while Cr, Cu, Ni and Zn were in organic and residual fraction, and Pb was in organic fraction. The results indicated that Cd was more bioavailable and has potential impact on environment. The study has provided scientific information on metal forms in the soil which is important in future.
