摘要

A new method of hot spraying in electron beam furnaces was described. Method consists in consumable billet melting by electron beam and directed stream of liquid droplets formation by centrifugal rotation. Quenching rates characteristic for the method (of the order of 104 degree K/s) were estimated by mathematical simulation. Experiments with the method were carried out for titanium plates joining and titanium with steel connection. Good joining took place without edges melting. Materials structure and mechanical properties were investigated.
