The ' Master Plan Mobility Management – Intelligent Roads In Lower Saxony' wasdeveloped in 2007. Lower Saxony's Ministry of Economics, Labour and Transport(Nieders?chsisches Ministerium für Wirtschaft, Arbeit und Verkehr - MW) is the initiator.The time horizon leads up to the year 2021. Main topics were to work out the specific targetsfor the state Lower Saxony and to develop appropriate measures to improve the trafficmanagement on the strategic road network of Lower Saxony. An intensive communicationprocess with a steering committee and workshops was choosen to foster an agreement on acommon strategy of all actors. Important measures of the master plan are already in the stateto be implemented.
