SEISMIC PROPERTIES OF RC FRAME SANDWICH TYPE JOINT

摘要

RC Frame sandwich type joint is convenient in the practical construction of high-rise buildings where thehigher strength concrete is used in the column while the lower strength concrete is used for theconstruction of beam and slab. Two groups of specimen are tested for the research on the seismicproperties of RC frame sandwich type joint including the corner and the edge joint. The test results suchas the effects of the deformation ability, concrete strength ratio, etc on the performance of sandwich typejoint are described in this paper. The tests results shows that after the careful designing, the sandwich typejoint can satisfy the ductile demands in seismic region.
