摘要

Species-abundance relationship of the insect community on the canopies of apple trees in Yantai,Shandong Province, China was studied. The logarithmic series distribution and the truncated negative binomial distribution give a good fit to the data. The total number of species inhabited on apple leaves was estimated by the parameter k and p of the truncated negative binomial distribution.
