Environmental and Assurance Process for Waste Management onthe North Slope

BP Exploration, Alaska Inc. Has developed a comprehensive assurance process tornmanage the disposal and reuse of waste and to ensure proper tracking of all wastesrndestined for underground injection at North Slope Class II and Class 1 wells. Thernassurance process for waste management is part of BP’s environmental managementrnsystem that has undergone extensive enhancements over the last few years. Thisrnpresentation will cover the elements of BP’s assurance process and environmentalrnmanagement system as it relates to underground injection.
