Environmental and Assurance Process for Waste Management on the North Slope

BP Exploration, Alaska Inc. Has developed a comprehensive assurance process to manage the disposal and reuse of waste and to ensure proper tracking of all wastes destined for underground injection at North Slope Class II and Class 1 wells. The assurance process for waste management is part of BP’s environmental management system that has undergone extensive enhancements over the last few years. This presentation will cover the elements of BP’s assurance process and environmental management system as it relates to underground injection.
