A new multiple access protocol for wireless Internet access callednuser-dependant perfect-scheduling multiple access (UPMA) is proposed.nPacket transmissions are scheduled according to the number of activenusers, packet queue length and round-robin service rule. The number ofnactive users are determined by the proposed self-organizing algorithm.nUsers in the ad hoc network are divided into clusters by thenself-organizing algorithm.
