This paper presents our study on a compact circular polarized horn antenna working in W-band which can generate Left Hand Circular Polarization (LHCP) with wide impedance bandwidth and 3-dB axial ratio bandwidth. And better power-handling capability and structure rigidity are also expected when compared with septum-based CP antennas. The preliminary simulation results show that the reflection coefficient below −21 dB and axial ratio below 3 dB from 75.7 GHz to 110 GHz can be achieved while the directivity is 17±1.2 dBic.
