PREDICTION OF POST-CONSTRUCTION SETTLEMENTS OF ROCKFILL DAMS

摘要

This paper presents an analysis of the post-construction crest settlements measured in different types of rockfill dams, in order to determine the possibilities of predict them using several empirical methods. In addition, particular attention is paid to the influence of the compaction method used (layer thickness, number of passes, roller's weight, etc.) on the development of the settlements rate.
