Two-dimensional gap resonance between oppositely leaning floatingrntwin barges in proximity subjected to normal incident waves isrninvestigated by both model test and numerical simulation. Thernexperimental data and numerical results of the gap resonance betweenrntwin oppositely leaning barges are in good agreement generally, andrnboth of which show the resonant frequency of the fluid oscillation inrnthe narrow gap decreases with the increase of the leaning angle relativernto the vertical and the resonant wave height in the narrow gap decreasesrnwith the increase of the leaning angle.
