Aluminum alloy hot stamping has been developed to improve formability and avoid thermal distortion by combining hot forming and quenching in one operation in recent years.Formability and final strength should be taken into account simultaneously in the forming process.In this paper, uniaxial tensile test and warm deep drawing test were carried out at temperature ranging from 25 to 300 ℃ to evaluate the deformation behavior of an solution treated Al-Mg-Si alloy sheet.The corresponding strengthening evolution was reflected by Vickers hardness measurement.It was found that the fracture strain decreased slightly as temperature increased to 300 ℃.The drawability increased as temperature increased to 200 ℃, then decreased with further increase in temperature.The hardness increased first and then decreased, the peak hardness appeared at 200℃.Enhanced drawability and hardness could be obtained simultaneously at 200 ℃, which can be chosen as an appropriate forming temperature.
