A number of small- and medium-sizernreactors are being developed worldwide for cogeneration,rndistrict heating or desalination.rnThe Seoul National University (SNU) has alsornstarted to develop MWth BORIS (BatteryrnOptimized Reactor Integral System) as a multipurposernreactor. BORIS is a lead-cooled integraltypernfast reactor with an ultra long life corerncoupled with a supercritical CO (SCO) turbinernBrayton cycle.
