A Proposal of Evaluating System for Road Improvement in Mid-Mountainous Areas

摘要

In this study, an evaluating system including a group of indices was proposed for evaluating the impacts of the road improvement in mid-mountainous areas. That was developed in terms of the existed indices, the summarized characteristics of mid-mountainous areas and the voices of the residents in a mid-mountainous area. As a result, it brought us to make the evaluation accountable on the road improvement planning instead of what had been done by the index of the cost-benefit analysis, which may be considered as a standard for the evaluation.
