In the framework of the technological demonstrator for Multi Conjugated Adaptive Optics, a project involving several European institutions, a simulation code has been developed in order to study the performances of a layer-oriented correction of atmospheric turbulence. In this paper a brief description of the code is given and some results are shown, obtained using typical atmospheric models and natural guide stars as reference sources. The application of spatial and temporal integrations to the wave front sensors, according to the characteristics of the atmosphere at the altitude of conjugation, are used leading to some gain in magnitude and wide-field (2-3 arcmin) correction.
