The application of the Differential Impedance Analysis (DIA) for model recognition eliminates the necessity of a preliminary working hypothesis. Since DIA applies as an intermediate tool a model of a simple Faradaic reaction, it is supposed, that the method would have high efficiency for identification of kinetic models described only with lumped elements. This work demonstrates the capability of the DIA technique for identification of linear semi-infinite diffusion obeying the second Fick's low, which corresponds to the so-called Warburg element. Its clear recognition can be applied for the identification of more complicated models, such as Randies model, which corresponds to a reaction with transport limitations.
